This Privacy Policy describes how MediaEngine API (“MCP Media Engine”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the MCP Media Engine website, API, and MCP server (the “Service”).
Information we collect
- Account data — email address and authentication details when you sign up.
- Billing data — payments are processed by Stripe; we store a customer reference, not full card numbers.
- Usage data — API requests, job metadata, prompts, and generated assets needed to deliver and meter the Service.
- Technical data — IP address, request logs, and basic device/browser information.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- To meter usage, process billing, and prevent abuse and fraud.
- To respond to support requests and send service-related communications.

Prompts and generated content
Prompts you submit and assets we generate are processed to fulfill your jobs and may be retained to operate the Service (for example, asset delivery and your job history). We do not sell your prompts or generated content.
Subprocessors
We use third-party providers to run the Service, including model/compute providers, cloud hosting and CDN, Stripe for payments, and analytics providers (Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics). These providers process data only to provide their services to us.

We use third-party analytics services on our website and dashboard to understand how visitors use them and to improve the Service. These services use cookies and similar tracking technologies:
- Microsoft Clarity. We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products and services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products and services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud and security purposes, and advertising. - Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site traffic and usage patterns (pages visited, referral source, approximate location, device and browser information). We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, though no method of transmission or storage is fully secure.
